Design
Every Mimmi Terra bag is made with care and intention. Each one takes between two to three hours to handcraft, using age-old weaving techniques passed down through generations. Our signature structure was chosen for its clean, functional shape — strong enough to hold its form, yet adaptable to everyday use. We use a hard-wearing, easy-to-clean material that is both featherlight and durable — designed to travel with you, wherever you're headed. It’s a bag that becomes part of your ritual — not just a seasonal accessory.
The weave gives each bag its texture and character, while the material is lightweight, washable, and exceptionally durable. Designed to last and to live with you, our bags are made to be carried often — whether you're travelling, commuting, or wandering slowly through your local market.

Founder
I started Mimmi Terra with a clear intention: to create something useful, enduring, and thoughtfully designed. As someone who moves between work, travel, and time outdoors, I needed a bag that could do the same — one that felt just as right at the beach as it did at the markets, on a flight, or heading into the studio.
Shaped by my Italian-Australian background, I’ve always been drawn to simplicity, utility, and quiet design. Mimmi Terra is a reflection of that — a brand built on versatility and purpose, with pieces made to be part of your everyday rhythm.
Packaging
Standard Shipping: We ship all orders within Australia via Sendle - Australia's first 100% carbon neutral delivery service.
Waste: in order to reduce waste, we create all totes in limited numbers. While some lines are designed to be released in only small numbers, our staples lines are produced on the basis of demand.
Boxes: our mailing boxes are made in Australia by VISY an FSC certified supplier, supporting healthy forests and protecting wildlife. Our box packaging is made from 100% FSC recycled cardboard, which can be recycled after use.
Tape: we use 'Biogone' packing tape - a biodegradable and recyclable tape. This tape will be completely eaten away by natural microorganisms after disposal to a landfill.
Mailers: our mailers are certified compostable (home and industrial) made from mostly plant-based materials such as PLA and a certified compostable material (PBAT)
